Another arm candy!

I mentioned about procuring a LV trevi pm before. So guess what? I did and I had it for.... 1 day :( 





I bought it from LV boutique and couldn't wait to take it home, so I can try & gaze on it for hours. The moment I took it out of the enormous brown box, I was like ...aaahhhhh... and to my disappointment, there were some scratch on one of the bottom corners :( Although a hassle, I knew that I can always take it back and exchange it.

Besides modelling it a few times in front of the mirror, I tried to put some of my personal stuff into the bag. The bag turned out heavy and after going in and out of the bag a few times, I have to agree with a comment by some regarding the small top opening. It is quite restrictive and I do not like the feeling of having my hand touching the zipper every time. Nevertheless, it is still beautiful.

With a heavy heart, I took it back. I still love it, I mean, I've been dreaming about it for years, how can I just give it up? sigh....

It also happened that I started to have my eyes on LV Brea mm in epi the day before. So there I was in the store, wandering around, thinking, comparing between those 2 bags. I decided to follow my mind than my heart and went for Brea instead. I like it that it has a long strap as I tend to carry my bags on shoulder and I love it long, like my chanel. It is leather and it is dyed through out all layers, so a nick or scratch won't be that noticeable. It will definitely last longer than monogram or vernis. The design is also elegant, it can work with casual or formal attire. It would also be easier to carry around with a baby in tow.

So there! And if there should be anymore LV bag in the future, I will keep damier and vernis in mind ;)



Syukur alhamdulillah...

Sunday, 12th February 2012, was (and still is) the best day ever after those 6 and a half year. We've been trying for 2 years and finally succeeded... Yeay!!!! We are pregnant again!!!! We're still keeping it under the radar even from out oldest daughter. This blog doesn't count though, no one actually knows me here, so I'm fine. :)

May Allah bless this pregnancy and makes everything easy for the baby and me. We can't wait!

Hello 2012!!!

I am definitely not a blogger material, I know. Anyhow...hello new year! And I see an older me too! blergh!

What should I say about 2011?

Physically wise... more grey hair starting to pop out and I do starting to feel easily tired than before. And I am only 33! Been meaning to colour my hair but I really want to see how they would progress. Extreme shock from seeing more grey hair once the hair grow is not something I relish. And yes, I have been gaining weight too...I'd like to blame it on the hormonal therapy that I went on :D. One good thing though, my back has been pretty good during the entire last year. It wasn't as problematic as before and I am very thankful. 

Emotionally wise...handling a growing daughter is not as easy as before. Same goes to computer obsessed husband. I need to learn how to be patient again. There is still a lot of emotional reflection & growth that I need to work on.

And yayyyy!!!! No designer bags in 2011!!! :D (other than my 2 coach and I don't consider coach as a designer brand)



What do I hope for in 2012?

A better me... spritually, emotionally & physically.

Need to work hard on looking young! hahah!!! Anti-aging products here I come! :P

Still working on for at least another bun. Ya Allah, bless our family, accept our duas & prayers.

Need to do something for myself. A Master programme? hmm...

Going home??? Malaysia oh Malaysia....When? When?

Contemplating temptations...

Being a woman, one is naturally full of passion, desires and wants. And mannnn...have I been wanting to get my hands on too many things! Handbags, sunnies, bracelets, shoes, gadgets...endless!

Okay, I'm going to babble about bags. Just how many bags does a woman need? Everywhere I see (well, in the cyber world at least), people just keep on getting one after the other. It's good that they can afford the bags, I am not condemning them..not at all. It's more like I am trying to reflect on my needs & wants.

I have a few bags that I'd like to have, but really? Do I need them? I feel anxious just to know that I actually have too many bags lining up in my closet. Which is why I got rid of 7 of my Coach bags and left myself with 7. In addition to that, I've just procured myself another coach bag and probably 2 more  (stilll deciding on them). Why do I have to buy those bags when I already knew what I want (a LV trevi pm) and already set my mind that I need to save for it?...confused.... An idea! I think I will get my husband to get me that LV bag instead! hahah!



My brain hasn't gotten any rest thinking about all the bags that I'd like to have...Balenciaga, Chanel, Marc Jacobs....puhlease...give me a break!

And sunnies....I have easily 10 pairs of them already. And yet, I grabbed a Pucci & Kate spade just last weekend. Really! Is it that important to have all kinds of sunnies?

Chocolate anyone?

I think I'm possessed by chocolate. I've been buying and eating all sorts of chocolates lately. Well, not really, certain kinds only.

In the last 6 years of my life spent in the US, never was I bothered to step into a 'Godiva' shop until lately. I stepped out of the shop with a paper bag full of chocolates. Planned on taking a bite (only), but I ended up finishing the whole pack. How???!!!

Anyhooo...let's talk about chocolate. What's you're favourite?

When it comes to well commercialized chocolate, I prefer these two;

The best chocolate that I have ever had in the US would be the ones from 'Godiva', like these;

When it comes to European chocolates (the less sought/commercialized ones), it would be these;

I made sure that I got enough supply of these every time I stopped by Germany.. nyummmmmmm!!!
