It is amazing how a simple sight and refreshing smell that emanates from this makes my day... especially during these cold days...

Self taught knitter.
From where I come from...I've never thought that I would take up knitting. The weather is too warm for any knitted wear and I do not fancy any knitted household items like a doily or whatsoever. Plus, knitting used to look like a boring hobby and...only old women knit. I know...I am so narrow minded like that.
I used to be a career woman who worked in a very fast-paced environment.(Don't get me start on the stress level...saving lives are not easy) But, now that I'm a stay at home mom who looks after her husband, daughter and of course the house too, I have more time than I had ever had before! Being in a four season country has also helped a lot in triggering this desire in me to learn knitting. So...I self taught myself how to knit from all the resources that I can get on the net. I am only on my second project and I hope I will keep on learning.
For my first project, I made a simple poncho for who else...my daughter. It has proved it's worth for daughter deary loves it! She has been wearing it almost every single day. :-) Since it was my first attempt to knit, I thought I ought to start with very basic, garter stitch. I did not bother to measure or start with a gauge swatch. I just....do it. I know...very bad. And the cycle does not stop there. Same thing happens with my still ongoing second project. :-P
Let's knit! :-)

Just last night...
Despite of a few debut blogging ideas running in my mind, I just have to blog about last night. I was half asleep on the bed when my little munchkin came and offered to pamper her mommy. Out with the cooling eyepad and the roller massage....instantly, I felt...this little girl appreciates her mommy. Like a whole lot!
Besides pampering, with her cute voice and antics, she prayed, "God, please make mommy healthy so I can have a brother and a sister. Pleaseee God."..Ohhhh!
